Deforestation means, clear an area of forest or trees. The causes for deforestation during colonial rule are: 1)To make industries. 2)Oak (tree) needed for making ship's of royal navy of England. 3)Cutting down of trees for making railway tracks. These are some factors for deforestation during colonial rule.
