px2 + 3x + q = 0
x = 1
p + 3 + q = 0
p + q = -3 .......... (i)
x = -2
p(-2)2 + 3(-2) + q = 0
4p - 6 + q = 0
4p + q = 6 ........... (ii)
Subtract (i) and (ii)
3p = 9
p = 9/3 = 3
Put it in (i)
3 + q = -3
q = -3 -3
q = -6
