Secularism means showing due respect to all religious. India is called secular because there is no official religious of the state. 1) all the people in India are free to practise any religion on they like, unless in goes against the peace, security and integrity of the country. 2) Everybody is equal before law and enjoy equality no matter which faith, caste, colour or creed one belongs to.
