Poonam Bais 6 years, 11 months ago

Suppose 5-2√3 is a rational no. 5-2√3= a/b (for any co prime a and b ,b not equal to 0) -2√3=a/b-5 is also rational -2√3=(a-5b)/b is also rational √3 =(a- 5b)/-2b is also rational This contradicts the fact that √3 is an irrational no. So 5-2√3 is an irrational no.
