    diameter = d
    => radius = d/2
    new diameter = d + 40% of d = d + 2d/5 = 7d/5
    => increased radius = 7d/10
    original area= 22/7 X d2 / 4 = 11d2 / 14
    increased area = 22/7 X 49d2/100 = 539d2 / 350
    increase = (539d2 - 297d2)/ 350 = 242d2/ 350
    = 121d2/ 165
