    PNP transistor = Here, two thicker segments of p- type ( termed as emitter and collector ) are separated by a segments of n- type semiconductor ( base ). non transistor = Here, two thicker segments of n- type semiconductor ( emitter and collector ) are separated by a segment of p- type semiconductor ( base ).
