Disadvantages:
1. When they dry cracks and when wet it swells, makes them difficult to manage, unless they are cultivated at appropriate soil moisture levels
2. These cracks may sometimes extent to severe limit like ½” wide and 12” deep. So buildings made on this soil may suffer severe damage.
