Miss Anne Sullivan was Helen Keller's teacher and her companion. At first, Helen was just a little mass of possibilities but after Miss Anne Sullivan came in her life. She taught her the beauty in each and every thing around her. She was the one who taught Helen to read and write. The way she taught Helen was very amazing. She first let Helen to feel the object and then tell her the name of that thing. The first word which Helen learned was "doll". Helen was not able to understand the difference between water and mug.
