Here, tanA =a/a+1. And. TanB = 1/2a+1 A = tan–¹(a/a+1) B = tan –¹(1/2a+1) A+B = tan–¹(a/a+1) + tan–¹ (1/2a+1) = tan–¹[(a/a+1) + (1/2a+1) / 1 - (a/a+1)(1/2a+1)] = tan–¹(2a²+2a+1/2a²+2a+1) = tan –¹(1) = tan–¹[tan(π/4)] =π/4
