Na and k float in water but ca not float in water when ca and water meet hydrogen gas evolve and rise up it stick calcium

Calcium floats in water because it does not react so vigorously with water as sodium or potassium does. Hence when bubbles of hydrogen gas is liberated, it sticks to the base of calcium. hydrogen being lighter than water makes calcium float.
