JavaScript , it's original name is livescript, but is was now known as javascript, it was not derived from java programming language but it was similar to java. It was basically a client side web developing language. It is the good example of OOP language. Almost (99℅) all web site or web based program was powered by javascript as it was powerful and programming is easy with it. (See w3school.com if you are interested in it)
