Indian reformers of 19 th century found print india as the most potent means of sreading their views on the social ills affecting the society.Through newspaper and books ,they raised their voice against sati,child marriage ,monotheism,Brahmanical preisthood and idolatry.the spread of print culture provided them with a space for attacking religious orthodoxy and to spread modern social and political ideas in different languages across the country.
