It is on the basis of this information that we learn how the government works. * Media also criticises the unpopular ploicies and programmes that the government takes. * Media forms public opinion. *Media acknowledge us with several current issues. * Media provides awareness among masses.

Media is of two types independent and dependent . dependent means under control of big corporates and independent media means media which is independent which is non partial which does not parcelity this is known as independent media
