Since, n is an odd integer, (-1)^n = -1 (-1)^ 2n = +1 (-1)^2n+1 = -1 (-1)^4n+2 = +1 So, -1+(+1)+(-1)+(+1)= 0

Whenever power of ( -1) is odd then answer is -1 , it doesn't matter how big power is , so answer is ............( -1)+(-1)+(-1)+(-1) = -4
