The following is the main difference between commercial and social advertising:
1. The commercial advertisements are intended to promote or sell a product by directly appealing to the public, whereas, the main motif of social advertisements is to promote social issues.
2. The commercial ads are used to make more profit, while social advertisements are based on the common benefits of people or society.
3. The commercial advertisements are used to launch new products whereas, social ads are used to spread awareness in the society.
