Ans. Some sections of the society that lie lower on the social ladder, who cannot obtain proper education, and can easily be opressed, need to be given special power, for them to become equal and to ensure social equity. If not given the chance, our constitution would miss out on a huge part of society's views. Hence, reserved constituencies come in here.
