The person who support and fights for equal political, social, cultural and economical rights of women and their liberation is considered feminist. In short he or she supports right and equality of women.

The aims of feminist movement are

a.Their aim is to study gender biases and understand the nature of gender equality.

b.They work for right and equality of women in different aspects like right to voting, right to take divorce, right to remarry, right to education, right to live, equal pay for women, workplace right, protection from domestic violence, sexual harassment, abuse etc.
