ΔG is - ve as r*n is spontaneous .... . When a gas is adsorbed on a solid surface, its movement is restricted thrfor , ΔS - ve.... ΔG= ΔH-TΔS......so looking? this eqn.... ΔH should be - ve?.. and hence eothermic.. ?
