●satyagraha emphasised the power of truth and search for truth ●satyagraha suggest that if the cause was true, if the struggle against injustices,then physical force was not necessary to fight the oppressor ●without seeking the vengeance or being aggressive, a satyagrahi should be able to win the battle through non-violence ●this could be done by appealing to the con-science of the oppressor ●people including the oppressors ,had to be persuaded to see the truth.instead of being forced to accept truth through the use of violence

Satyagrah means the need and search of truth.....in independence movement ...it regards that if ur reason is true...then u needn't to impose voilent....we cn also achieve it through nonvoilence...bcoz if u r true...then once the leader 've to persuade to see truth.....n the main aim behind applying it in india is to unite all the indians......
