Let the speed while going be x km/h

{tex}\therefore {/tex}Speed while returning = (x + 10) km/h

According to question

{tex}\frac { 150 } { x } - \frac { 150 } { x + 10 } = \frac { 5 } { 2 }{/tex}

or, {tex}x ^ { 2 } + 10 x - 600 = 0{/tex}

or, (x -f 30) (x - 20) = 0

or, x=20

{tex}\therefore {/tex} Speed while going =20 km/h

and speed while returning = 20 + 10 = 30 km/h
