Many new states have been created after Independence...... ..... • NO OFFICIAL LANGUAGE - in India there is no official language. Hindi and English are used for official works.there are other 22 scheduled languages in India..... ..... • NO OFFICIAL RELIGION - there is no official religion practiced in India . Here people have the right to profess any religion of their own choice......... ........ ......... . • POWER SHARING- in India power is shared Among different organs of government that is legislature, executive and judiciary. Power is also shared at different levels of government that is National level , state level and local level.

The division of power between central authority and various constituency equally. The government should be two or three tire or levels of government.
