    OVERLAPPING DIFFERENCES -> • under this , a social difference overlaps another difference. • here people don't show any common interest on any subject and start feeling that they belong to different communities . • it creates conflicts between the people . • Ex- difference between blacks and whites in USA....... ...... ........... ......... CROSSCUTTING DIFFERENCES -> • under this a social difference cross cuts another difference. • under this people share a common interest on same subject. • it doesn't create conflicts between the people. • Ex- Catholics and Protestants in Netherlands.
