LOK SABHA

The strength of lok sabha is 550 but the present lok sabha has 545 members.
Lok sabha consists of members directly elected by the people.
Members of lok sabha are elected for a period of 5 years.
Any person who is an indian citizen and of 25 years age can contest the lok sabha seats.

RAJYA SABAH

The strength of rajya sabha is 250 members but the present rajya sabha has 245 members.
12 members out of these are nominated by the president and the rest are elected by the states.
Rajya sabha is a permanent body and the members are elected for 6 years.
The candidates minimum age is 30 years and how to be an indian citizen.
