Tan (3x + 30°) = 1 The value of tan is 1 when theta is 45 which means Tan45° = 1 Therefore Tan (3x + 30°) = Tan45° 3x + 30 = 45 3x = 45-30 3x = 15 x = 15/3 x = 5
