The main criterion used by world bank is per capita income. i. e the average income of the country. Limitations It hide disparities that is does not tell us about thw distribution of the income. 2 it doesn't consider human development i e non material aspects such as health and education.

Main criterion used by World Bank is Per capita income. The limitations of this criterion is that it doesn't not give a clear picture of the country's development since, by this data it is not known how the incomes is divided among all the citizens.
