They are used in torches and headlights of cars to reflect the light from the bulb to form a powerful beam of light.

They are used in astronomical telescope to form the image of stars and planets. The image is then magnified by the telescope.

They are used by the dentists to view a magnified image of the teeth.

They are used as shaving mirrors with focal length greater than normal mirror.

*Correction of myopic eye

* used as. eye. lens  in Galilean telescope 

*used in wide angle spy hole in doors
