● Russian industrial production was depleted more faster than any other European countries ● Russia was cut from other suppliers by German control of the Baltic sea ●Railway lines break down. ● There were labour shortages in factories and industries bcoz many people went to the war. ● Food scarcity was witnessed when large amount of bread and flour was sent to feed the army .
