1) Power sharing reduces the possibility of conflicts between various social groups. 2) Since power sharing often leads to social conflicts and political instability, power sharing is a good way of ensuring the stability of the country. 3) Tyranny of the majority doesn't only bring ruin to the minority, in the long run it brings ruin to the majority as well.
