Resource planning is a technique of planned utilization of resources. Resouce planning is very essential because resources are limited and unevenly distributed Examples - some states like jharkhand ,chattisgarh and m.p are very rich in minerals but other states are not rich Arunachal pradesh has abundance of water but it lacks infrastructural development
