1. Trade discount is given on bulk purchase.
Cash discount is on immediate payment
2. Trade discount is caculared but not recorded Cash discounts are calculated as well as recorded

Trade discount is discount on trade...it is given to everyone..but cash discount is given on cash or immediate payment by any means...it is given only on immediate payment and on the ratio of payment done immediately
