I also did the same but AgNo3 was given in ans. And i think its strong reducing agent and it reducea two H-atoms and in CHO there is only one H- atom so cant be reduce by k2cr2o7

Butanal on oxidation gives butanoic acid. We can use K2Cr2O7 as an oxidising agent
