Young' Modulus = stress/strain = F/A×e/l =ma/A×e/l Where, F is force, A is area of cross section, e is elongation, l is actual length, a is acceleration, m is mass. By their units, Y= [(Kg×m/s ki power 2)]/[(m)ki power 2×m/m)] Y=(kg×m)/(m ki power 2 × s ki power 2) Y=kg/m×s ki power 2 Therefore, dimensional formula of young's modulus is [ML^S*]. 《where ^ = -1 and * = -2.》☺☺
