Ans.

Given : A(3,4), B(k,6)

x+y - 10 = 0 ………………(1)

According to Mid-Point Formula,

{tex}x = {3+k\over 2}{/tex} {tex},y = {4+6 \over 2} = 5{/tex}

put value of x and y in (1),

{tex}=> {3+k\over 2} + 5 -10 = 0{/tex}

{tex}=> 3+k + 10 -20 = 0{/tex}

{tex}=> k -7 = 0{/tex}

=> k = 7
