Agar or Agar- Agar, sometimes reffered to as china grass, kantena, or just agar is a gelatinous polysaccharide derived from red algae. Agar is used to get many food products such as puddings, desserts, jelly candy, soups, sauces, and more. Agar is popular vegetarian alternatives to gelatin (clear , tasteless protein), which is made from animal bones, skin and connective tissue. { I hope this will help you } ☺
