Hitler was at the pinnacle of his power by the end of 1940, is the right statement. Following are some of the examples for this: 1. Hitler launched the reconstruction plan in Germany. The aim of this policy was to provide employ-ment to the people of Germany through many policies and programs financed by the state. 2. In the year 1933, Hitler stepped out of the League of Nations. 3. In 1938, he united two nations, Austria and Germany, under the motto 'one people, one empire and one leader'. 3. Hitler seized Sudetenland, a German-speaking nation, from the occupation of Czechoslovakia in the year 1939. 4. Thereafter in June 1941, he attacked the Soviet Union. 5. Hitler signed a Tripartite Agreement with Japan and Italy in the year 1940, to establish his claim to international leadership.
