Sn1 reaction take in two step .first is formation of carbocation amd rearrangement of carbocation and attactment of nucleophile.takes place in polar protic solvent .follow first order kinetics .rate is independent of conc of nucleophile .good leaving group and weak nucelophile whereas sn2 take place in one step.in transition state carbon is bonded to five atoms unstable and cant be isolated.follow second order kinetics and good nucleophile
