No important physical quantity is measured in volt meter (VmVm).

If you are looking for volt/meter (Vm−1Vm−1), then that is the unit of electric field. Electric field is the gradient of electric potential.
E⃗ =−∇ϕE→=−∇ϕ
The gradient operator has units of m−1m−1 and electric potential is measured in volt (V). Hence Vm¹.
