Electropositivity is a measure of an element's ability to donate electrons, and therefore form positive ions (Eg. Na, Ca, Mg, Al, Li) and electronegativity is a measure of the tendency of an atom to attract a bonding pair of electrons thus form negative ions (Eg. F, Cl, O). Transition Elements Are Metals. Thus They Are Obviously Electropositive.
If the element is electron donating then we can conclude that it is electropositive and if it is electron accepting then it will be electronegative. Most of the non metals are electronegative.
