Mrs. Packeltide wanted to kill a tiger because she wanted to show Loona Bimberton that she was not less than her in any way. ... Mrs. Packletide wanted to snatch that limelight which Loona Bimberton got by doing this. It was only possible if she could do more daring act than her, So she decided to kill the tiger.

Because Mrs packletide was to her mrs Loona Bimberton. Mrs packletide was fond of hunting the tiger. She wished to kill a tiger to outdo her rival Loona Bimberton who had brohght a tiger skin by aeroplane . She showed a lot of pres photographs with it. Now, mrs packletide wanted to give a luncheon party to show off her valour.
