Salt bridge is an U tube field with Galvanic or ager-ager dissolved in a hot concentrated aquas solution of an inert electrolyte like KCl,KNO3,NH4NO3 etc.On cooling the solution in the form of gel inside the U tube the ends of the tube are flubbed with cotton wool to minimise the diffusion effect.
