Substitution method is method which is used in chapter 3. In it two equation are given and we have to find the value of x and y. We can choose any one of them and solve it then we will having an value eg: x=3y+4. Then put it in the other equation ( which you have not choose) and solve it then we will be getting a valu of y. eg:y=3. Then put it in any of those equation and solve it.Than you will get the value of x.
