Power sharing is important because of the following reasons: 1) It establishes equality in a country. 2)It reduces the chances of a conflict or a civil war. 3) It makes the people realise that in a country if a majority community in an area establishes power or dominates the minority groups it or refuses to share power it can undermine the unity of the country.
