Limitations of per capital income as indicator of development are:

Per capita income only portrays an average income of the total population of the country.It does not show the actual income of a person.

Does not show the real distribution of income. Does not show how many people are rich or becoming richer.

The limitations of this report * It considers only income and not other aspects such as literacy,health,life expectancy etc..... * It only tells about income and not how it is distributed among the citizens some may be very rich but the masses may be poor
