The jacobin club was the most successful political club which was formed after 1789. The members of the jacobin club belong to the less prosperous sections of the society. The wanted to set themselves apart from 20 sections of the society so what long striped trousers which were known as 'sans cullots' meaning minus knee breeches. The leader was Maximilien Robespierre.
