Extrusive rocks,when the molten magma comes from the vent to the earth surface. These are extrusive rocks. Basalt is a example. Deccan plateau is made up of basalt. And the intrusive are formed when the molten magma cools inside the volcano. They have a fine grained structure. Granite is a example of such a rock.
