4x square2 -4x-3=0 4x square2 +2x-6x-3=0 2x(2x+1)-3(2x+1)=0 (2x-3)(2x+1)=0 x=3/2, x=-1/2 Alpha=3/2, beta=-1/2 Verification- Alpha +beta=-b/a 3/2 + -1/2=-(-4)/4 2/2=4/4 1 = 1 Alpha × beta = c/a 3/2 × (-1/2) = -3/4 -3/4 = -3/4 (Hence verified)
