(2x + y= 3) × 3. ----1 (3x + 4y=5) × 2. ----2 From 1 & 2 we get; 6x + 3y = 9 6x + 8y =10 --------------------- -5y= -1 So, y = 1/5 Then, 2x= 3-1/5 2x =14/5 X= 14/10
