Here, AB is a straight line and ray OC stands on line AB, such that {tex}\Delta AOC \cong \Delta COB.{/tex}
By c.p.c.t, {tex}\angle AOC=\angle COB{/tex}
Now, {tex}\angle AOC+\angle COB=180^{\circ} (\because \text {linear pair}){/tex}
{tex}\Rightarrow \angle AOC + \angle AOC = 180^{\circ}{/tex}
{tex}\Rightarrow 2\angle AOC=180^{\circ}{/tex}
{tex}\Rightarrow\angle AOC = \cfrac{180^{\circ}}{2}{/tex}
{tex}\Rightarrow \angle AOC = 90^ {\circ}{/tex}
