Kinetic Energy(E) = 1/2mv^2 ——(1)

Momentum(P) = m*v ————(2)

From equation 1

1/2 * m * v *v

1/2 * p*v

So, E = 1/2pv.

This is the relation that is been induced from these two equations. So kinetic energy become half.
