Mark x+11y=1 as eq.1 and 8x+13y=2 as eq.2 . Now multiply eq1 by eq2 and then subtract the results. After subtraction x=9/75. Put x=9/75 in eq 1. It will give y=66/825 . Hence x=9/75 and y=66/825
